Ever Thought About Renting a Timeshare? ~Giveaway

My husband and I love to travel. He is exceptionally good at finding good deals in amazing places! We have had a lot of fun traveling with the little guy too - he especially loves the luggage carts :)

One thing we hadn't looked into, until recently, was time share rentals. I discovered that there is a whole market of time share rentals. You can rent a time share that isn't being used - which often makes it a budget-friendly proposition! Timeshare rentals typically cost up to 50% less than hotel rooms, especially when rented directly from the owner.

For a family, a big advantage is being able to save money on meals. We just got back from a mini-vacation in a hotel where we had a mini-fridge but no kitchen. I know it would have saved us money if we'd been able to prepare our our food. Most timeshare rentals come with a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen.

While exploring RedWeek.com, a website where you can find a timeshare, or rent one if you own one, I also discovered many of the resorts have swimming pools, often with waterpark features, hot-tubs, kiddie pools and children’s playgrounds. I even found one with a mini-golf course! The website is easy to navigate, has much-needed reviews and lots of options, including searching by "kid-friendly" or "pet-friendly." If you  do take family vacations, it seems a reasonable price - for $14.99 a year you have unlimited access to all the listings. For folks with timeshares there are additional deals! I have to say, I have never thought about or looked into timeshares prior to being introduced to this site. Now, however, I'll check here first!

Now for the best part :) RedWeek is offering one of my readers a free two-year RedWeek membership!  Use the Rafflecopter form below, it is open through 2/21/13. You must like RedWeek and Time Share Ambassadors (or follow them on twitter) to be eligible!

p.s. In case you wondered about the term “redweek,” and why this company has that name:  In the timeshare industry a “red week” is the best, or prime time, to own a timeshare (for example, Christmas week at a ski lodge, etc.). In using this term as the name of this company, it simply means “The Best.”  J

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  6. It is nice to have these options with a timeshare! So many feel "stuck" once they purchase one but having options like this makes it more flashy!
